THE DÁIL AND SEANAD aren’t back in duty until tomorrow, because of the long weekend, but two committees are getting going early:

2:15pm – Environment, Transport, Culture and the Gaeltacht – The European Aviation Safety Agency recently came out with a report on how commercial pilots were at risk of fatigue, and proposals on how this could be minimised. Here, reps from IALPA will brief members on the proposals and their substance.

3:30pm – Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform  – Paul Egan, a partner at Mason Hayes & Curran – and an author on company law and corporate governance – offers his feedback on the proposed whistleblowers’ protection legislation.
