Today in Leinster House: September 9, 2011

For the second Friday running – and for the third time in two weeks – the Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform committee will meet to hear submissions on the issues facing the banks and the economy.

After the input of Messrs Noonan, Elderfield and Honohan last week – with the latter being particularly vocal about the need for the banks to do more for struggling mortgage holders – this week it’s the turn of NAMA’s chief executive Brendan McDonagh, and NTMA chief John Corrigan, to offer their thoughts.

Proceedings, from 10am, will be live on the Committee Room 4 stream.
