While it’s the Finance committee that’s been doing all the bidding for the last couple of weeks, today it’s the turn of the Committee on Health and Children to hog the limelight as the day’s sole event.

In what will no doubt be tooted as an example of the Oireachtas listening to outsider or unusual groups (indeed, commendably so), groups representing ‘the youth perspective’ will offer their thoughts on the problematic use of illegal drugs. Reps from Spunout and the Aislinn Adolescent Addiction Centre will attend.
