Seanad makes its nominees to various committees
The various nominees have been added to the membership lists for each committee alongside their Dáil counterparts. Unlike the TDs, every senator regardless of rank takes on some committee work; there’s only one member, Fine Gael’s Michael Mullins, who takes on two spots.
The Oireachtas says each committee will meet to pick its chair next week.
